DVB-TECH ARC Detectors work by sensing light in the waveguide and interrupting the trigger pulse going to the transmitter when light is detected. An Arc Detector is used to protect expensive RF power source and high-power waveguide devices from the Arcing process, which can occur in waveguide systems.
